Carving a Memory

October seems to bring many new faces into our year. The leaves are changing, the weather is cooling, ghouls and goblins are about to be strolling! Although we don't typically dive into the whole Halloween Spooks and Tricks full force like some, we did do a few things to celebrate the new face of fall for 2012!

Deryk and Samantha both claimed that they had NEVER carved a pumpkin before...well...I'm a big fan of changing "NEVER's" into an opportunity for firsts! The three of us dug right in and here's some little pics to prove it!

First, we drew up some silly and spooky faces!
Secondly, we picked our favorites!
Third, we started choppin and fishin!

Once all the guts were scooped, we drew our faces on and started the intense sculpting!

And overall I think that we turned out with a pretty cute little Trio of Jack O'Lanterns! Even for a couple of first timers!
